Tom Dushaj is a business and technology executive with experience in a variety of management disciplines at both large and small organizations.
He has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Certifications, Special training in Business Management and experience in Marketing, ERP Software, Technology Staffing and Consulting, Labor Relations, Personnel Management and International Business Operations. His work experience includes personnel administration, research and development, product development, project management, management information systems, as well as manufacturing and quality assurance.
Mr. Dushaj has held positions ranging from a Marketing Analyst with a smaller organization, to IT Consulting Services Vice President, ERP Software Sales Manager, and Product Development Manager roles with “Fortune 500” corporations. As a business professional, Mr. Dushaj has applied his experience and knowledge of staffing/hiring and consulting, and has helped assist his clients realize success with their projects.
Mr. Dushaj is a technology consulting professional who works with a number of clients in the Manufacturing, Healthcare, Automotive, Pharmaceutical, Retail, Technology, Finance, and Transportation industries. As a consultant, he sees the importance of providing solutions to problems, and identifying the best course of action to solve those problems for his clients.
He is active with personal and professional organizations and volunteers his time with local charities and non-profit organizations. He see’s the value of giving back to the community and helping to progress worthwhile causes. He speaks at conferences and trade shows to enlighten professionals about important aspects of their job search, and the steps they need to take to ensure that they have a solid resume that speaks volumes, how to secure an interview, understanding the interview process and what it entails, and how to plan a winning interview strategy so you can get a job offer.
The inspiration for this book came from the need to help people with great work skills and experience translate that to paper, and realize their potential by taking the proper steps in the job search process. This includes a comprehensive approach to planning and executing a self-marketing plan. It was important to write this book to make people aware that settling for the norm just isn’t good enough anymore. You need to have an advantage in the job market, and be able to present yourself as the best possible candidate for the job for which you are applying.
